Batt is an Android app that lets you check your battery's status. For example, you can see its remaining capacity, the number of charge cycles, the current charging policy, and the battery's manufacturing date.
Remaining capacity, charge cycles, and more
The first piece of information displayed by the app is the battery's remaining capacity. As you charge and use your battery, it loses capacity over time. After 500 charge cycles, the capacity may have decreased by 10 to 15%.
The second piece of information shows the battery's charge cycles. This data measures the number of times you've consumed and charged 100% of the battery. For example, if one day you consume 50% of the battery and charge it to 100%, and the next day you do the same, it will be counted as one charge cycle, since you consumed the equivalent of a full charge over the course of two days.
The charging policy box indicates whether the device is currently charging and which charging method is being used. Finally, you can also see the battery's manufacturing date, which, if you haven't replaced it, will be very close to your device's manufacturing date.
Only compatible with Android 14 and later
In order to use Batt, you need to have Android 14 or later, as the collection of battery data was introduced for the first time with this version. If you try to open it on Android 13 or earlier, the app will close automatically.
Download Batt's APK if you want to find out how your battery is doing.
